[resolved] Looking For Skull Cap Screw Placement Reference Images

Discussion in 'Deer and Gameheads' started by Crepuscular Creature, Sep 20, 2022.

  1. Hello, I was wondering if anyone has any images of a skull cap they screwed onto a mannequin?

I just want to get the screws placed right so I don't break anything or mess up anatomically speaking.

    Thanks in advance,
    Raven

Two 4" long 1/4" heavy duty lag screws on the left side of the cranial sutures and two on the right side of the cranial sutures. On elk I use five lag bolts.

Not really going to mess anything up. 4 screws in most everything. Moose get lag bolts. I try to keep the front screws in line with the burs in case the customer decides to switch out the antlers in the future. 20220921_144611.jpg

That is a pic that looks like what I was describing.
