Help With Cut Line

    Not sure what it’s called. But I need to know how to use water to part the feathers to make my cut. I tried the other day with not much luck, so just made the cut. I am wanting to improve on my cuts.

    If you are referring to the breast cut or the leg to leg try using very, very soapy water. I use dawn in my water in a spare spare bottle. Soak the area you want to part and it will stay open usually. If breast you need to find the natural seam where the feathers separated naturally in opposite directions.

    After spraying with soapy water, I use a comb to create a part in the feathers. Cut right on top of the breast bone, stopping just short of the vent.
