Been looking every day since Jan. 1 to see if WA posted his method of how he casts his heads. Would love to see his method.

No problem WA. Just glad you are OK ! Was getting worried by not seeing the animals of the month post. Looking foreward to April. Will sure be worth the wait.

 

Young Lynx I mounted for cool sculptor on here. Just getting ready to finish it. Larger than a bobcat, about half the size of a full grown Lynx. Was in the freezer for eight years. Somehow was able to skin it out and it came back from the tannery perfect. I would have never thought it would be any good. Cast and carved body.

 

Did I miss something? Where is WA?

 

I think I read on here he's taking a break from the Forum for a bit.

Nice work! Here is a young european lynx-wrapped body.

 

Not lifesize but first bear and rug for my shop.

 

my first bear with custom habitat .... enjoyed it immensely .... Also happens to be my first ever half LS .... I must say I like the half LS.... I have always felt bust/shoulder mounts of things without antlers/horns leaves something to be desired, but a half LS is LESS THAN HALF the work but 75% as cool as a full LS .... not to mention more economical and space efficient
