Pan Pastels For Finishing Whitetail

    How many out there use pan pastels on whitetail. I have one I’m looking to try, looking for insight. Also pest way to get it out of the hairs

    You can do some pretty cool things with them. But in my opinion they are better as an addition to airbrushing. In other words, use your airbrush for your base coat of flesh color then use the powders over that. The key is multiple layers, nothing in nature is one solid color. Hope this helps.

    I seal each layer with workable fixatif on the birds I do.
