    Its trash.
    iI usially put on fb just before early teal/woody season. that I do not take in early season birds...always plagued with pin feathers. It's a waste of my time. Would love to have all my time back of all the trash I tried to make pretty or the trash that caused me to thaw it to discover the fact is was trash. I just don't want my name on that kinda stuff. Same thing with all these plantations around me (S GA) that hunt pen raised pheasants. They're garbage too, and I turn every single one down.
    That being said, I always say something like, "Nice job Mr Client. Now that you scratched a bird off the list, it's time to go after a stud for the wall. Take pics w this one and eat it."

    This is why I quit talking pheasants from Southern boys. They go pheasant hunting in October.

    The only birds from early season ive had go good are eclipse blue wing teal.
