    Generally the more mature a buck is, the less eyelashes and whiskers it will have because they rub the hell out of everything leaving their mark. Just my observation. Not a firm rule.

    one person says mounts have to be perfect another says they dont.
    i agree with the second person because...nothing in nature is perfect and the competition score sheets are phony and some judges just dont get it either.

    my signature line says it all and i was just an unlicensed novice at the time....LOL

    That might be true, but there also might be deer out there that genetically don't have whiskers, but I've never seen one without eye lashes. I've seen them slip off though and those are the ones that are easily repaired using tanned, eyelids glued in place of them. It's not that difficult of a repair and I don't remember charging much extra to fix them.

    what if they want a full body mount of a nice buck and its missing a testicle ?

    better yet...what if its an antlered doe...Antlers and a vagina....LOL

    will you need a written and notarized statement from a vet :)
