    It says he’s a new member but his profile says member since 2016! Either there is a mistake or it’s the longest probation in history.

    This sale is legit, I was out of town for a few days, the payment for the cape came through PayPal from Mexico with a Mexico address, requesting it to ship to a different address in Texas, pay pal has a hold on the payment. I talked with the buyer this morning. suggested I refund his money, and sell to the next person on the list. he refused to have his money refunded, and will be patient until PayPal releases the funds. The cape will then ship.
    no probation, just have better ways to spend my time instead of putting my unwanted opinions on other peoples posts, so my status in still "new member"

    Chad I never said a bad word either way about the transaction or the parties involved. I was pointing out that your profile said new member . When someone raises a concern about a transaction people look only at the member status and immediately think scammer. I pointed out that you have been a member since 2016 because with this group of people there’s no way a scammer would be here that long. I’m sorry if it came across the wrong way . The fact is I’m new here and I’m trying to learn the forum ropes so to speak. But I also know that in most forums that when it comes to scammers people are out for blood and I’ve seen my fair share of good people being wrongly accused. But please understand there was nothing accusatory in my post and I’m sorry if you took it that way.

    I CALLED CHAD THIS MORNING, I DO NOT KNOW WHY PAYPAL DOES THAT, AFTER THE PHONE CALL I TRUST THE SELLER, HOPE TO GET THE CHAMOIS SOON.

    I’ve dealt with this a bunch of times.When you pay someone using PayPal but don’t use your PayPal balance but a debit or credit card they put a hold on it for “fraud protection reasons” even if the debit card is attached to the account. It usually takes 4-5 days . If it takes longer you the recipient has to call PayPal and ask to have it released. If that die worth then the sender can call and get it released.
