Hmmmm .. ok, so McKenzie will no longer offer Tohikon eyes because they hired one of the artists who painted them? Pretty sure that Tony did not paint all the eyes himself.

McKenzie is excited to announce that Antonio Alfaro, the leader and artist behind Tohickon glass eyes, has joined the McKenzie team. Tony brings nearly 30 years of experience, a distinguished reputation and superior ingenuity to McKenzie. By combining decades of experience with the resources of one of the most trusted names in taxidermy, we are proud to introduce Tony’s newest line, Legacy Eyes. Using the latest technology and techniques, Legacy Eyes is the next generation of hand-crafted glass eyes.

The response to Tony’s new line this season has been exciting! At McKenzie Taxidermy we are hard at work perfecting the production of this new product, by investing in better equipment, technology and staff to quickly build inventory to meet our impressive demand. Given this level of demand, some eye varieties may be out of stock this season and we suggest calling our customer service for availability to insure we can meet the needs of your specific projects. Although we can no longer offer Tohickon glass eyes, we are confident that the quality, realism and craftsmanship of this new series of eyes will exceed your expectations. Stay tuned for exciting new developments, an excellent level of service, and superior quality glass eyes!

Tohickon closed up last year. There is no Tohickon anymore. Tony went to work for McKenzie developing this new line of eyes. It will be interesting to see what they come up with. And cost!!

Judging from the picture McKenzie sent with the mass email, the pupils are off center like most of McKenzies eyes... so far not impressed.

Lol try it the technology that’s behind these eyes are extreme and nobody has been able to produce what Tony accomplished with his ways. Another eye company tried and well we all know how sad their eyes got.
I wish McKenzie the best as we all have our gripes about this and that but hate to see them fail as it’s never good for any business to fail know matter how we feel as there’s many folks underneath them that depend on a pay check to support their family. I just hope their as great as Tony has always provided us with high quality!!
