I need a full-time, experienced (or newly trained) taxidermist for a dynamic full service taxidermy shop. Should be well versed in all atxidermy: gameheads, lifesize, birds (including turkeys), fish (skin and repro's), reptiles, tanning, habitats, North American, African, Asian, European and exotics. Specialists may be considered, but will need to develop their skills in other areas ASAP. Must be a self starter and ready to hit the ground running. The candidate will have to work as a 1099 contractor, "by the piece" at first until they demonstrate their expertise and production capabilities. Salaried position will follow if desired and production criteria can be met. I am looking for people who are excited to do high quality, artistic taxidermy and be compensated accordingly. Those who expressed an interest previously are welcome to call back. This is a new position that has opened.

    Please email or call.

I appreciate all the offers of wholesale assistance, but what I need is a full-time, log-term employee. I am not behind in my work at this point, but my full-time employee is no longer with me and I am seeking to replace him. I am looking for someone who wants a career in taxidermy, either long-term in my shop or short term to learn the business before striking out on their own. I need someone who is excited to do/learn top quality taxidermy techniques in a high end (for our area) shop. I have skinners lined up for the busy season so what I really need is someone who knows taxidermy. Again, thanks for your responses but I am NOT looking for a wholesaler.

    Thank you
