  1. Hello all, I am just trying to find info on a product called Cabosil. I have recently read a post about mixing Bondo with Cabosil. I have already looked in archives and could not find what I was looking for. I just trying to figure out benefits of it. Thanks in advance to all. Todd

    The stuff is kinda nasty, don't breath it.

    Cole is correct in that it shouldn't be inhaled, but the jury is out about any possible damage it might do. If you google it, you'll find that it's routinely used in FOOD PRODUCTS sold in the US. It's used with water for people who can't swallow water without choking. It is VERY powdery and it's always wise to wear a mask when mixing it.

    the stuff will dry your skin out make your hair fell like a wire brush. i use the stuff alot at work we use it when we grind rubber it dont let the rubber fuse back to geather.
