Can you buy deer meat ?

    I am a professinal chef and I never had deer meat. Dont want to buy the frozen stuff from NZealand so I was thinking to post to buy some deer meat.
    Not sure if it is legal . I am talking personal comsuption not for my restaurant

    You can buy ranch raised deer.

    Yep, ranch raised. Sometimes you can find it in grocery stores. I've seen deer/pork sausage in WalMart before.
    You may be able yo get some from a processor at the end of the season if someone didn't pick thiers up.

    Just Google venison. It'll come up all over the place. Be prepared to pay top dollar on line though.
