visions of wildlife taxid love me or leave me, just dont try to convert me

i guess it would depend on who is doing them, javelina are smaller, but they do suck, (in my opinion)LOL i price boars higher, but not by much, boar is 475 in my shop closed mouth, add 100 for open mouth, javelina are 375 and same add for an open mouth.

  3. a Javelina and a hog are not even related! a HUGE javelina will top the scales at 55lbs while a monster boar hog may go as much as 400lbs. A hog is in the swine family and a javelina is in the peccary family. They both have a round nose and thats about where the similarities end. A big boar hog can have a shield close to 2" thick and you will never see a shield on a jave. I dont charge the same for a whitetail as i do for a boar hog same as i dont charge the same for a javelina and a hog. a HUGE javelina and a very small hog would be the same size. You can't even find a form small enough for a hog if it were the same size as a javelina.

Boars start at $300 higher than a Javelina in my shop, they are a night & day difference!!! You could flesh a Javelina with a butter knife if yoyu wanted to, that is how big the difference is!

Roosters post basically summed it up & Russ, even though it is not my business......you are too damn cheap!! ;)

Becky P One must believe the glass is half full.

Absolutely no comparison. Boar 525 c/m, 675 o/m, javy 375 c/m, 525 o/m AND that's not enough, but I'm the highest in my immediate area that I know of. Takles me a good day just to flesh a dang boar - that's the worst part.
Oh, if you get a lifesize javelina, just remember they have a smelly gland on their back/rump area.
