Guys, you gotta understand something first off. I didnt take the animal, and Im not really involved one way or the other, Im just throwing it up for a debate. Im also, therefore, not offended by the outcome, so its ok no matter what we all say. But just showing pics of a dog thats being bred to look like its wild counterparts is not proof enough to me. In fairness, looking at a dead one, or a mounted one isnt, either. If I walked up to that animal in a trap, I myself would know. Its ok to ask Bob Wendt, but here in the east we see so many color phases and markings/patterns you wont see in the midwest/west where Bob so successfully traps. My earlier statement was that if its simply a coydog, a one time only cross breed, then why are there other animals so closely the same? Its either a coyote or a dog, not an inbetween, in my opinion. Usually you can just "tell" if its wild, or domestic, by the smell, the manner, its just "there" I guess. BTW...Andy, you can kid with me, that I dont mind, Id just say be careful of trash talking, like Michael does, lol. As for the lovely Nature Goddess, Im sure SHE knew, as should you guys, that I was simply having fun, as well as a little compliment, to a cute girl...also half my age, married, and across the country from me! LOL. I think she was kidding about the shed antlers too, by the way. Wink.
