I was trying to find a posting that I recently seen about the yote that was mounted in a home that looked like the one being questioned on ebay. Well this may help with the questioning of the color. This is a piece right off the PA Game Commission web site and publishings. The eastern coyote is a member of the canid, or dog family. It is larger than its western cousin - typically attributed to wolf-coyote hybridization - and usually has one of four pelt colorations: tri-color (German shepherd-like), red, blond and dark brown (appears black at a distance). Maybe it is true and that would explain the coloring.

  3. it actually just occured to me that the "coyotes" in question beared a coat with more resemblace to Siberian Huskies here, than German shepherd-like coats.

?, i have a hard time understanding what you mean but a dog deffinitely can have a mouth like that, and we all know you could use a coyote form to match with that skin so that could explain it if it looks yote like but i'm addimate that there is no friggin way thats a yote. if anybody thinks the pick bill posted is a coyote then your legally blind and you need to cuff yourself.
