salt bath ph high help

    I know that this si normally answerd but i need help my ph for salt bath is on 3 what is the fast way to get it down to 1.5 or 2 need help fast email me or reply on here

    Just add more acid, but make sure you remove your skins before you do add your acid then put them back in.

    First off what are you doing AKA re-hydrating a cape or pickling the cape.

    If your just re-hydrating a hide, we don't check the Ph of the water. You can soak a hide in salt water for no more than two day. The measurements are 1 pound of salt to a gallon of water. Some folks may add a bactericide to this as per instructions of the product

    If it's a pickle that your trying to do then you need an acid for the Ph to drop.
