Can anyone tell me if tanning a Hawaiian black would be the same as tanning a deer??
My tanning now consists of salt, pickle, flesh, Mckenzie tan.
Would that work on this ram??

  4. Rush,

Can you explain to me why you would feel the need to rehydrate after salting? The whole point of salting is to pull moisture out of the skin.

re hydration solution has a bacteria and fungus killer in it.

  6. Rush,
It is already in the archives if you don't feel the need to elaborate. Been hashed over many times. The real proof is to do 2 deer capes, one soaked up in the pickle, and one soaked up in a rehydration bath, then into pickle. Seeing is believing for a guy named "show me".
