"Freeze Drying"

Discussion in 'Lifesize Mammals' started by Duggaboy, Mar 6, 2008.

  1. I am looking for information on the "Freeze Drying" process. What type of equipment is required and where does one find this equipment? Also, how is the process accomplished for lifesize animals?

A teacher at a college and he makes a statement like this? They have a chemistry dept..wouldn't take much to inquire about the process. Sublimation and lyophilization are not all that difficult.

  5. I also have a taxi-dry. The largest Life size I have done is a house cat. I just took out a 14 lb snapping turtle. I also did a 3.5 foot aligator. I am about to do a fawn. It is great for Pan fish, mice, deer feet, and turkey heads.
