I'm mounting two golden eyes and the white patch on the cheek and some feathers on the neck turned yellow. Before I started they were bright white. Anyone know why they turned yellow and how do I get them back to white?

  2. Need more info on the story. Only thing I can think of is blood and/or fat. If you have washed it yet it will come out. If it complete, try some Hydro Peroxide with a q-tip? Show a pic.

I washed the birds twice in dawn soap then let them soak. After about an hour I tried some blood eater, thinking that would take the yellow out. Well that did'nt work so i tried winks rust stain remover. Still got yellow. When I started with these birds, they were bright white. I'm wondering if the fat was an issue. I would take a pic but my camera is currently being used by a friend. I will try the peroxide and see what happens. Thanks for the help...
