newby looking for whitetail cape

  1. looking for a wet tanned doe or buck anything very cheep. I want to give this a try without spending lots on a cape and then mess it up. the first one i want tanned just because I do not have the room to do the tanning but if everything works out the next one i will do from a to z. any help would be appreciated

    You don't want a cheap cape. It will be junk. But you can find a excellent quality cape for a fair price with this company:

    I have 6 cape that are all wet tanned they all have excellent hair no slippage at all but they all have flaws that would have to be fixed I'm more then happy to sell you one at $75.00 plus shipping just call me at 402-650-7889. capes range from 15 1/2 to 21 1/2 inch necks

    there right, you get a really cheap cape and think your getting a deal,and they can say whatever they want about quaility, and find out its got more wholes than swiss cheese or its thicker than beef rawhide and slipping so personaly i'm not buying from individuals unless i know exactly what i'm getting because a pictured can be doctered to make most hides look good and you can't tell slippage from a photograph unless its obvious

  9. if i was to buy a green cape what video would be a good one to start with i know everyone will say as many as as possible but if you could only choose one what would it be

    All the cape I have are proffessionally wet tanned. The only problem with these capes is that they need some repair work. because of bullet holes or small cuts during the flesh process. If you are willing to do a little repair work you could get a very nice cape already tanned for basically the cost to have it tanned.
