I left town at 7:50 this morning, and killed this buck at 8:10. I spotted one buck in a stubble field, and when I glassed him there were two already over the fence where I have perpetual permission. I parked in a low spot and headed down a shallow drainage. I looked over a small rock outcrop, and no deer. Moving slowly, I finally saw one in a low spot moving along a fence line, and headed my way. The wind was perfect. I took a seat and waited maybe a minute. Out they came into an opening at maybe 60 yards. Three bucks. This one was the second one in line. He's hanging in the backyard, skinned and caped, with the tenderloins on the menu for supper.

Just back from British Columbia yesterday.
Took this billy on day 7 of the 10 day hunt. Plagued with snow, fog and rain on this hunt.
This billy was trying his best to get himself into the B&C book.

Off to Kyrgyzstan next week. Hope my luck continues.

No, I think this is a different buck. Two miles from where I was, and the rack is taller. I'm loading some varmint grenades for coyotes, now.

Did that pronghorn cape of Randy's look OK?
