  10. Here is my very first buck. The cam pic is the ONLY pic I ever got of him, and I harvested him 4 days later on Oct 22. I got him with my Parker Sidekick compound bow here in VA. 6-pointer, no brows, and that left G2 measured 9". I've got him caped and he's going to be my first "practice mount" probably sometime after Christmas.

Just recently back from our DIY aoudad hunt out in far west TX. Felt good to be back in home turf territory and chasing sheep.
The ranch we hunted has no roads, no amenities, and certainly no high fences. It's all on foot and on your back. Camp was the back of my Toyota and the sandy wash at the base of the mtns.

We went 3 for 3 and we all able to take some great rams home.

    A bit of the terrain.

Nice job with the film. Love the music. You guys took some nice animals. Question, are the gators for snakes ?

    Thanks, fellas.
Jim, gators are for snakes, cactus (tons of it), and protection of your wool pants from the cat claw.

EA, table fare is a very subjective discussion! Let's say that these old rams make good aged jerky. That's about it.

How far are you guys shooting Kilimanjaro ?

That was pretty cool that you could see the bullet disturbing air on it's flight.
