Congrats on the ribbons wild - Jeremy very cool - you don't see dusky's hardly ever. Is that a wild shot bird ? what do you use for the black platform on the base ? (seen it a few times but always curious how its made - would like to try/incorporate it sometime)

Peter - VERY cool jay (i love jays - of all kinds) beautifully done

Hey Guys I decided to throw this bird on here too since its a wholesale project and it wont come off the stand untill the customer picks it up. It will be suspended from the ceiling with a 3 point hanger system that I installed so it wont spin. Its on the stand right now for grooming purposes and I will continue to fiddle with its grooming over the next couple of days. Unfortunatly as most turkeys the wing tips were thrashed and thats as good as there gonna get. He is supposed to be getting ready to land so when he is hung he will be in a more upright position. Here is a reference photo I used to give me ideas.

    Nice jobs, everybody!
I like your macaw, Jeff. (3/4 blue and gold?)
I also like the blue jay. I had a pet one for 12 years and she was really a sweet bird. Totally illegal, of course, but I was just a kid. Anyway, you really captured the "jay" essence, Peter. Excellent!
