Would like to know how many people use a dorsal incision or a belly incision on a flying goose suspended from the ceiling. Does it really matter?
  2. yes... what needs to be considered is your skill in the cutting and then the sewing... the thing to consider is (1) what is the pose (2) how is this going to be displayed (3) when mounted, how is the habitat (if applicable) and pose going to affect the ascetic views?

basically, if the mount is from the ceiling and is to be a flying mount, go with the dorsal, as the common view is on the opposite side... if there is a balcony, then consider a side cut where the sewing / seam might be nigh invisible...

just cosnider where the maining viewing is to be and then position the cut opposite... if possible...
