Thanks to all those who posted in the Mammal of the Month #1! There was a bunch of great
mounts as usual. What do you say we get #2 underway? Post em up everybody. I'll start with a couple
mounts that aren't quite finished yet.

This was a kind of a different project...Its a "Rabid Squirrel" puppet for a student film. I don't know the name of the film yet but I have permission to show it on my website once its finished. The squirrel has rods coming out its rear which are used to control movement of the arms, and the tail has a loose, flexible wire in it so it will wave around as the squirrel moves.

Nice work everyone. Foxes and cats look great. I bet that lion would look good if it had some legs and skin on it.

    Hello everyone,

Well it has been taking me some time to upload this photo on here. This is Edwin, owner of High Country Taxidermy, as you probably have read I have quite a few posts on employment opportunities with my company. I am posting this photo to merely give everyone an idea of the work that my talented group of taxidermists and myself do at the studio for a vast clientele list throughout the nation. I hope I can peek some interest in anyone and wish all well this year in their businesses. Keep reaching for your dreams and goals and never alow anyone to tell you they are not possible. Anything and everything can be attained with a positive attitude and work ethic both in life and at the work place. Thanks for allowing me to share this with you all.

    Respectfully,

    Edwin Alarcon
