form adjustment

    i made a slight mistake when ordering parts fo a fish Im doing I ordered a head that is slightly wider then the form Im useing, is there any way i can expand the form just at the gill width i need to expan about 1/4 inch would spray foam an some sanding solve my troubles ???

    sometimes heating the gill plates up on the head will allow you to flex them in a little, but be careful not to break them, some of the dennis arp heads need to get really hot to flex them.

    Would it work as an open gill head to attach to the body?

    I would not go the route of the foam cut a v slot in the top of the head if needed and heat the ehad and test fit to see pin with t pins to hold until cold more than likely that is not your only problem it could be too high also did you carve the body before you had the head?
