Biggest Bass

    My largest bass was a small mouth, it weighed 8lbs on the nose. Caught it trolling in the fall in Erie Pennsylvania.
  2. My biggest smallmouth Bass is the one I use in my Avatar.
    A lake Erie Smallie at 5 lbs. 3 oz. I caught it with my 3 wt. fly rod. using sinking line and
    drifting a tube jig. Its a good technique, if you can find a little structure along the shoreline...

    I caught it about 5 yrs. ago....I have not been able to crack the 6 lb. class yet.

  4. The pond itself is 16 acres. Great spot for numbers, size is hit and miss. I started actually managing it last year, by removal of smaller fish and lots of blue gills. They are over running the pond. Hope to have an awesome fishing hole in a couple years.

    6 lbs small mouth was a blast to catch, caught a 22 inch largemouth took a picture of it let it go put the camera in my front pocket, later on bent over and like Paul Harvey says you know the rest of the story Ha Ha BOO HOO!!
