Hi Fish guys. I got my hands on a nice little 22" peacock Bass blank to play with and practice on.

This is my first real fish to paint over 10" and got to use a few irridescents* and pearlesents. I am getting some super nice custom blanks made of some of the actual florida butterfly peacocks like the ones I caught on my trip. This was a bit thin and I dont think it was the exact species. lI just started painting fish a month ago so let me know what you think. I am open for critiques.

forgot...I have not attached the pec fins and base is temp.

    Very Nice!
That Brook Trout painting on TWIFP is amazing as well.
Your art skills translate well from the canvas to the 3Dimensional.

Gulfcoast.....enjoyed our talk the other day. You have some great ideas. Your hitting the reference on that peacock is off the charts. At first, I thought you were joking when you said some of your reef fish were your first attempts. Jeesh, where do you go from here???? Keep -em coming and keep molding 'em.

What else can be said? ??? ??? The reference needs to step up a couple of notches to match the quality of your reproduction. Fantastic job!!!
  18. WOW! That is such a nice looking fish. Awesome job! I look forward to seeing more of your fish!
