    Leslie,

Knoblochs finishing deodorizer worked great for that rotten smelling WT cape we used last fall. But it will smell like it for a while.

a little trick i learned from dealing with wet labradors that i have also used on "doggy" smelling coyote mounts.. rub it down with a dryer sheet or 2. maybe mist the hide lightly with water before using the dryer sheet? it'll smell fresh.. but not like febreeze. just a thought

George The older I get, the better I was.

Leslie, put your hide inside a couple of pillow cases and run it through your clothes dryer on LOW heat several times. This will dissipate the unwanted "rosebud" smell.
