fish drying

    how long does it usaully take a fish to dry

    About a week. The last place to dry is the throat. If the throat is dry the fish is dry. I usually force dry fish with a fan. Also a dehumidifier in the shop speeds up drying time as well.

    depends on humidity .... and the type and size of fish...Todd is right if the throat is dry the fish is...

  5. When you take all the meat out, that means you have removed everything to include the meat on the throat skin, the ball joint behind the nose the fish will dry in a few days in front of a fan. Theres a lot of muscle tissue on the throat that must come off the skin.
