Does anyone know of a GOOD, RELIABLE deerskin garment leather tanner ? There seems to be PROBLEMS at Quill Ceda. Any one else having issues with them and there finished product , RECENTLY ?

jasonb I think I'll keep her

I have used Yost in the past for my leather but that was years ago.

  3. There is one in Salt Lake City that does a good job with leather. I can't think of their name right off hand though.

I have used WB Place, in Berlin Wi for years. I have had gloves, jackets and her buckskin objects made by them. They do a super job, and are very reliable.

I've got some hides at Quil Ceda (over a yr now). Please don't tell me that I'm going to get crap hides back. My customers are upset as it is having to wait this long. I was told by Lacie at Quil Ceda that Fox Valley went out of the tanning business (were keeping the store open) and that Quil Ceda bought some of Fox Valley's equipment and picked up FV's main tanning person.
  11. Maybe Fox Valley is not accepting new customers? Just a thought.
