Just got the book "Home taxidermy for pleasure & profit" written in 1944 by Albert B Farnham & published by AR Harding. Im pretty sure that taxidermy would not have become my trade if this all I had to work with. One chapter dealing with cleaning & insect proofing mounts I probably will use though. It really appears quite simple. First you saturate the mount with gasoline & then spray it with a garden sprayer containing an arsenic solution. Im sure I will pick up many more helpful tips that will be useful as well.
