African hides being tanned in Automatic pressure Tanner.

    I was wondering if any of you folks have tanned a salted african hide in a pressure tanner (ofcourse after rehydrating it again),,, and were you happy with the result,,, DID YOU GET MORE STRETCH OUT OF THE HIDES COMPARE TO OTHER TANNING METHOUDS ?
     
  2. Pressure tanning will do nothing to help any hide over tanning using other proper methods.
    Most African hides aren't rehydrate properly so don't tan well. So the trick is to get them soaked up right.
    Some African skins are very dense in there make up, similar to beef skins so a little harder to deal with.
    Your pressure tanner wont help your stretch
