WTC Registration Information and Prices

There are three general registrations to select from. All three allow access into the Trade Show, Competition Areas (when open) and eligibility to compete in the respective competition associated with the registration. The Taxidermy Registration allow access in the taxidermy seminars. The Carving Registration allows access into the carving seminars. The Combination Registration allows access into both taxidermy and carving seminars. Pre-registration has expired. If you have not pre-registered, please register at the lower level of the Crowne Plaza when you arrive.

World Taxidermy Championships Registration
$115.00 each before March 1, 2003, or $130.00 thereafter.

World Fish Carving Championships Registration
$115.00 each before March 1, 2003, or $130.00 thereafter.

Combination WTC and WFCC Registration
$140.00 each before March 1, 2003, or $155.00 thereafter.

Spouse/Family Pass
With any General Registration, you can purchase additional, Secondary Passes (badges) for your spouse or other immediate family members over 12 years old (under 12 are free). The badge is good for all 5 days of the show and allows access to the competition area and the trade show only. It does not allow entry into the seminars. The price per pass is $25.00 each before March 1, 2003, or $35.00 thereafter.

One Day Registration Pass
For this fee you will be issued a one-day registration pass (badge) good for access into Trade Show, Seminars and to view the Competition Area for one day only. You are not eligible to compete. The price is $40.00 each before March 1, 2003, or $50.00 thereafter.

Bus Tour of Lincoln Historic Sites
See historic Springfield, birthplace and home of America's 16th President. A guide will accompany the 4-hour tour. The price is $22.00. Availble on Friday, April 11 (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.)

World Championships Award Banquet
The WTC and WFCC Awards Banquet (Friday April 11) will offer a full-course dinner with a cash bar. All major awards will be presented, including the presentations of $20,000.00 in cash competition prizes. The banquet will be held at the Springfield Hilton Hotel. Transportation will be provided between the Crowne Plaza and the Springfiled Hilton. The price is $32.00 per person.

World Competition Entry Fees
(Fish Carving and Taxidermy) $25.00 each
At the last WTC, a record number of entries resulted in long lines. Although we will be adding computers and operators to shorten these lines, you can avoid them by registering your entries early. This will enable us to have a better idea of how many pieces to prepare for. You must be registered for the competition (above) in order to compete. The competition fee is $20.00 per entry before March 1, 2003, or $25.00 thereafter.

Electrical Hookup for Entry
Electrical Hookup for each Entry If an entry requires an electrical hookup, the Crowne Plaza charges a $15.00 technician fee to bring an outlet to your entry.

How to Register
Pre-registration has expired. If you have not pre-registered, please register at the lower level of the Crowne Plaza when you arrive. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express.

IF YOU HAVE PRE-REGISTERED: Go straight to the the Lower Lobby of the Crowne Plaza. Look for the area marked "Preregistered." Your World Shows packet, containing your badge, receipts, and any tickets for bus tours and the banquet you may have purchased, will be ready for you to pick up. If you are competing, proceed to the Competition Area next to the Registration Desk. Once you're through, you can take your mounts to the second floor Competition Area.

IF YOU HAVE NOT PRE-REGISTERED: If you do not preregister, the World Shows staff will begin taking registrations in the lower lobby on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. Go to the Lower Lobby and look for the sign marked "New registrations." Once you reach the desk, your badge will need to be made while you wait and all payment transactions will be entered in the computer. We will do everything humanly possible to make registering as quick and correct as possible.
